CAPA Presents Neil Simon's Plaza Suite
At The Historical Society Auditorium
Community Alliance for the Performing Arts-CAPA -will present Neil Simon’s hilarious comedy, “Plaza Suite”, this August at the Historical Society Auditorium on Washington Street in Easton.
“Plaza Suite” is directed by veteran actor Ed Langrell, who adeptly directed “Little Shop of Horrors” for CAPA in 2007. CAPA Executive Director, Erin Geyelin, will produce the show. “We are excited to present a Neil Simon work this summer. “Plaza Suite” is a delightful script; three vignettes take place in a suite in New York’s Plaza Hotel, and one is funnier than the next”, said Geyelin.
The cast includes: Rob Sanchez, Lynn Sanchez, Beth Anne Roy, John Swann, Richard Bourgeois, Dick Phillips, Laura Ochsman, Heather Scott and Herb Zeigler. The production crew consists of: Kay Phillips, Asst. Producer, Beth Fileger, Stage Manager, Molly Wilson, Assistant to the Director, Scott and Janet Haddock, set design, scenery and decoration, Barb Rybacki, props, Nancy Fox, costumes, Jon Hanbury, lighting design, George Ludington, tech., and Dick Phillips, set construction.
Performance dates are: August 13, 14 & 15 at 7:30 p.m. A dinner theater performance catered by The Waterview Grille will take place on Saturday August 16, starting at 6:30 p.m. There will be a Sunday matinee on August 17th at 4:00 p.m. Tickets are $ 20/$10 students, and $65 for the dinner theater performance.
“Plaza Suite” is funded in part by the Talbot County Arts Council.
